Uneven Lies: Downhill Lie

Uneven lies can play havoc unless you know how to hit them. The dowhill lie is proably the most fun, and easy if you set up correctly.

  • Take one more club, but anything longer than a 5-iron will be hard to get in the air.
  • Stand perpendicular to the ground with your weight on the left leg.
  • Swing a few times to see where the club hits the ground. That's where the ball goes.
  • Aim left of your target
  • Hit down along the hill.
  • Short follow-through.
